Direct-to-Consumer Service
RhythmIQ does not presently offer SINOA pursuant to a Business Associate Agreement or as a service intended for use by HIPAA covered entities in regulated clinical workflows. Future deployments or contractual relationships may require a different analysis.
Regulated Workflows
A healthcare provider, health plan, clearinghouse, employer, or other organization may not upload information for a patient or use SINOA in a regulated care workflow without prior written authorization from RhythmIQ and any required agreement.
Other Laws Still Apply
Whether HIPAA applies depends on the parties, data source, relationship, and use; this statement does not override law. Health information remains sensitive regardless of the applicable legal regime.
