Data Retention Policy
Clear, public-facing policy information for how Sinoa operates, how your data is handled, and how to use the product responsibly.
Active Product Retention
Short, incomplete, invalid, unsupported, and legacy-unclassified uploads may remain visible while records are retained but may be excluded from full Pattern Summaries, Trends, or comparisons.
- Source ECG upload: up to 6 hours after accepted upload.
- Trial generated Pattern Summary and detailed result artifact: up to 7 days; at most 7 retained artifacts.
- Paid SINOA generated Pattern Summary and detailed result artifact: up to 365 days; at most 1,000 retained artifacts.
- A historical limited entitlement may retain generated Pattern Summaries and detailed result artifacts for up to 30 days and at most 100 retained artifacts while that entitlement remains valid; it is not available for a new purchase.
- Derived Pattern History used for Trends and comparisons: while the account exists unless separately deleted; a subscription change may restrict visibility without deleting history.
- Mobile diagnostic report: up to 30 days unless deleted sooner.
- Public share: until expiry, revocation, subscription loss, underlying deletion, or account deletion.
- Live account and subscription state: until account deletion, subject to billing and legal processing.
Usage-Allowance Effects
An accepted upload may consume an applicable historical usage allowance even if invalid, unsupported, duplicate, incomplete, low-quality, or unable to produce a full Pattern Summary. No automatic credit or refund is provided solely for that result.
Backups
Encrypted source-data backup rotation currently retains up to 12 hourly snapshots and 14 daily backups. Encrypted durable customer-data rotation retains up to 12 hourly snapshots, 7 daily snapshots, and 14 daily backups. Active deletion may complete before the final backup copy expires. Backups are isolated for recovery and age out through rotation.
User Deletion
Cleanup tools can delete selected uploads, Pattern Summaries, Pattern History, or date ranges. Deleting or expiring a Pattern Summary does not by itself delete derived Pattern History used for Trends. Selecting all retained data or deleting the account removes both artifacts and Pattern History.
Pseudonymized legal acceptance, opt-out, deletion, and minimal billing evidence remains for two years after account deletion and then is permanently deleted. It contains no ECG, Pattern Summary, pattern, diagnosis, note, share content, name, email, address, payment credential, or raw account identifier.
Changes
If product or backup retention materially changes, this policy and point-of-use disclosures are updated before or with the change. Release tests compare approved policy statements with deployed subscription and backup configuration.
